Borders Podiatry & Chiropody

What is Chiropody?

Model Girl 2
Chiropodists are health care professionals who specialise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of conditions effecting the lower limb, ankle and foot. Chiropody is sometimes called Podiatry and there is no difference between them. Podiatry is the internationally recognised name and to become a Podiatrtist you must do a university degree in Podiatry or Podiatric Medicine.

Our HCPC registered clinicians are here to treat and prevent your foot problems and often see patients who suffer with thick nails, ingrown nails, callus and corns. With regular chiropody appointments we can maintain and improve your foot health and potentially stop foot problems before they occur.
